One of the foods I most like here is popcorn. It’s served with a lot of foods, especially soup, which Ecuador is famous for. We usually have two or three bowls of popcorn on the table when we’re having lunch at my in-laws’ house. You put it in your soup and if you listen carefully it kind of crackles as it melts and shrinks into small pieces. You can actually get several fistfulls into a large bowl of soup. Try it sometime.
